These four letters were addressed to Emma S. Jacobs, Director of Domestic Service in Public Schools, in Washington, DC. Sent in the fall of 1901, these letters from four different women contain lists of their credentials, including what home economics and cooking science courses and programs they may have attended, what positions they have held recently, and the salaries paid for those positions.
