Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The series consists of still images of NEA officials meeting with elected officials and other political figures, as well as speaking before the National Press Club. Most of the events in the images take place in public. Some of the officials speaking on behalf of the NEA are from national or state affiliates. Some of the photos include informal images of Government Relations staff.

In order to make ease searching, Library of Congress subject headings are attached to files containing photos of significant individuals or events. Users are can find photos by using these subject headings. When representatives of state and local affiliates are in a picture, a subject heading for the affiliate rather than the individual is added.

Formats include photographs, slides, b&w negatives and contact sheets.
