Historical or Biographical Note

The Computer Medicine Department was part of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. It appears to have been a part of the school from 1984-99.

Computer medicine traces the development of computer applications to medical research and practice. Computer Medicine includes aspects of computer use, including preparation and execution of programs that involve clinical or research applications, such as EEG analysis, medical file management, mathematical modeling, data processing, and managerial computing.
