Albert F.W. Schmidt manuscripts
This French manuscript collection contains correspondence, legal documents, pamphlets, notes, and an envelope. The materials date from 1644-1997. Topics include the French Revolution, royal marriages, taxation, and land sales. Ray Rackley, a Gelman Library supporter, partially translated, identified and dated these manuscripts in 1997. He included a written synopsis of the manuscript within each folder. His translations notes are included in the collection.
James Howard Gore Papers
The collection consists of three scrapbooks. Each scrapbook has material glued in including newspaper clippings, programs, event tickets, handwritten notes and correspondence. The third scrapbook has three images as well on the last page.
Schapiro family papers
This collection contains contains scrapbooks, photographs, and other materials from Dr. Louis Schapiro and his son, Dr. Mark M. Schapiro. The material ranges in date from 1904-1961 and pertains to the Schapiros' educational, professional, and personal lives, with a focus on the Schapiros' travels.
