The Foggy Bottom Collection is an outgrowth of the 1996 exhibit the Foggy Bottom Association and the Gelman Library sponsored called "Fantastic Foggy Bottom: The Growth of a Community." Materials in this collection include articles, building surveys, newspapers, books, photographs, slides, and artifacts. They range in date from 1907-98.

Frederick Albert Gutheim (1908-1993) was a city planner, urban historian and architectural critic, and professor at The George Washington University from 1971-79, and director of the University's graduate program in historic preservation from 1976-1979. Collection include correspondence, papers, publications, exams, syllabi, lecture notes, newsletters, and news clippings ranging from 1952-1980.

This collection contains newsletters, photographs, correspondence, annual reports, and governing documents created and gathered by Kerry Stowell as a member of the co-op board of Watergate East, Incorporated. The material dates from 1988 to 2011.
