Alice Heyl Kiessling and daughter Brenda Kiessling both received medical degrees from George Washington University. Alice graduated in 1929 and worked as a psychiatrist in Arlington, Virginia. Brenda is a 1972 graduate who practices Family Medicine in Falls Church, Virginia. The collection documents their experience as medical school students. The materials include course notes and a published work, and date from 1924-1970.

Kreiselman graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 1919, and later worked for the George Washington University Hospital and served in a medical capacity during World War II. This collection contains photographs, correspondence, and writings. The materials date from the 1916-1970.
Margaret Mary Nicholson (1899-1984) earned A.B. (1922) and M.D. (1925) degrees from The George Washington University and was a pediatrician and professor of medicine in Washington, D.C from 1928-82.
