Alumni Class materials
Collection includes scrapbooks, papers, diplomas, newspapers, textiles, and memorabilia from various sources associated with alumni of the University.
Bill Ryan papers
Collection consists of blankets, a football helmet, an athletic letter, a football, football programs, a pennant from 1957 Sun Bowl game, scrapbooks, photos, cups, and a trophy donated by Bill Ryan. Bill Ryan earned an A.A. degree from George Washington University in 1934 and also served as President of Colonials, Inc. athletic booster club in 1956-1957.
Columbian Women records
Collection includes scrapbooks, reports, correspondence, member lists, constitution and by-laws, photographs, and meeting minutes.
David S. Brown papers
Collection include books, correspondence, articles, scrapbooks, notes, travelogues and a cap and gown of David S. Brown, who was Professor Emeritus of Management in the School of Government and business administration and program director for 31 years. The materials range in date from 1915-89.
Edward W. "Skip" Gnehm, Jr. papers
Collection includes photocopies of two scrapbooks containing clippings, letters, photos, etc., of Edward W. Gnehm, Jr., GW student body president. They range in date from 1965-66.
Facilities Department records
Collection includes blueprints of buildings (including Lisner Hall, Lisner Auditorium, Stockton Hall, Mitchell Hall, Bradley Hall, Dorothy Betts Theater, Gelman Library), campus plans, parking lots owned, and expansion programs. There are also images of projects from the Mount Vernon Campus.
Faculty Women's Club records
Materials in this collection include membership directories, program booklets, meeting minutes, constitution and by-laws, annual reports, scrapbooks (with clippings, invitations, programs, photographs) . They range in date from 1930-1992.
Hazel Hanback papers
Hazel Smallwood Hanback (1918- ) is a life-long Foggy Bottom neighborhood resident, graduate of The George Washington University and served as a member of the Board of Trustees from 1979-1996. Collection includes two scrapbooks from the Grant School (in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood), including the PTA of the school, and includes photographs, programs, reports, correspondence and by-laws. Also present are three Kodak cameras, a bow used in archery class and a beanie from Grant School.
Lester Frank Ward papers
Lester Frank Ward (1841-1913) has been described by some as the father of American sociology. His contributions to sociology are almost forgotten today, but at one time he was considered to be one of America's leading intellectuals. Collection includes diaries, correspondence, photographs, a scrapbook. and sixty-nine articles written by Lester Frank Ward. The materials range in date from between 1883 and 1919.

Samuel I. Katz papers
Samuel I. Katz received his B.A. degree from GW in 1940 and his M.A. degree in 1942. Materials in this collection include correspondence, a birth certificate, resume, statistical reports by Samuel Katz papers, a scrapbook and an obituary, biography, U.S. Forces European Theater Certificate. The collection cover the years 1937 through 1993.
Student Association records
Collection includes legislative records, governing documents, by-laws, student court cases, Greek policy, minutes and memos, records, and correspondence. freshmen register, homecoming and campaign posters, and constitutional convention records.
Treasurers Office records
The Executive Vice President and Treasurer writes the yearly budget report for the Board of Trustees. The material in this collection includes brochures, forms, ledger books, microfilm, budget reports, scrapbooks, awards, estate and gift files, financial records, financial reports, president's reports, framed photographs, and memorabilia.
University historical materials collection
This collection include photos, diplomas, invitations, newspapers, early land holdings, 19th century newspaper accounts of the early college, Civil War records, and memorabilia.
William Reinhart papers
Collection consists of photographs of and news clippings about George Washington coach William Reinhart ranging in date from 1920-1993. In addition, contains certificates, correspondence, and a scrapbook of testimonial banquet on March 29, 1955.
Women's Progress Club of Washington prayer books
Collection include two prayer books of the "Women's Progress Club of Washington, D.C." The club was founded in 1937 and Sylvia Fisher (1910-1981), was president from 1956-57. The club was dedicated to raising funds for cancer research.
