This collection consists of manuscript and lecture notes, and one speech and is dated from 1919-1971. Murray Frank had a varied career that included writing and teaching. Most of his work related to Jewish issues.
National Intelligencer Newspaper collection
This collection contains issues of the National Intelligencer newspaper. These issues date from 1804-1844. This is not a complete run. The periodicals department at Gelman Library has Intelligencer on microfilm from 1800-1810 and 1813-1869.

Richard Dunlop collection on Vietnam War-era Protests
This collection contains fliers, publications, handwritten notes, brochures, images, sound recordings, and memorabilia related to various social issues, including the Vietnam War, civil rights, women's rights, poverty, communism, and the environment. The material dates from 1955-1986, and documents protest activities in the Washington, DC area and other parts of the United States.

Timothy Vedder letters
Collection contains holograph letters signed to family members in New York and Connecticut. These letters describe Washington, including brief mention of Columbian College (now George Washington University); drills and training; frequent illness of soldiers; retreat of Union soldiers from 1st Battle of Bull Run; and guarding house of brother of James T. Jackson, killer of E.E. Ellsworth, first Union casuality of war. These letters date from June 25-Sept. 26 of 1861.

The material dates from 1786-1945. All of the material in this collection relates to prominent people and activities in Washington, D.C.

The majority of the collection deals with DC public schools.
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority: Metro History Project Collection
Collection contains correspondence, clippings, transcripts of speeches and Congressional hearings, bound volumes, cassette tapes, and maps that document the history of the development of rapid transit facilities for the Washington metropolitan area. The records date from 1930 to 1984.

Willy Arnheim collection: Restoration of the West Central Front, United States Capitol
Collection contains reports, photographs, slides, correspondence, and list of clippings related to the restoration of the West Front of the United States Capitol. The material dates from 1962 to 1985. The reports, images, and correspondence address the technical issues involved in the restoration, whereas the clippings are mainly concerned with the political debates surrounding the proposed expansion and restoration of the building.
