The materials of this series include election data, election results, reports, clippings, essays, articles, maps, and notes. They range in date from 1914 to 2001, but the bulk of the material dates from 1970 to 1995. They represent material produced and/or collected by Professor Jeffrey R. Henig while he worked at the George Washington Center for Washington Area Studies and in the Department of Political Science.

The material dates from 1965 to 2003, but the bulk of the material dates from 1989 to 1996. These are materials created by and/or collected at the George Washington Institute of Public Policy. The majority of the collection deals with DC public schools.

Washington Theater Club records
Collection contains correspondence, scripts, resumes, programs, administrative records, financial documents, photographs, art work, and audio cassettes from the Washington Theater Club, which was formed in 1957 to fill a perceived cultural void; to present good drama, away from Broadway; to speak out in plays of consequence; to present new ideas, new forms, and quality theater, which could be enjoyed and performed without racial barriers.. The materials date from 1952-83.

Willy Arnheim collection: Restoration of the West Central Front, United States Capitol
Collection contains reports, photographs, slides, correspondence, and list of clippings related to the restoration of the West Front of the United States Capitol. The material dates from 1962 to 1985. The reports, images, and correspondence address the technical issues involved in the restoration, whereas the clippings are mainly concerned with the political debates surrounding the proposed expansion and restoration of the building.
Women's Progress Club of Washington prayer books
Collection include two prayer books of the "Women's Progress Club of Washington, D.C." The club was founded in 1937 and Sylvia Fisher (1910-1981), was president from 1956-57. The club was dedicated to raising funds for cancer research.
