District of Columbia Cable Television collection
Collection consists of the records from the D.C. Cable TV Design Commission. In 1982 a commission was formally created by the Council of the District of Columbia to create a proposal for bringing cable television to the District of Columbia. This collection consists of documents from the D.C. Cable TV Design Commission including two of the bids for the project. The material dates from 1972-1984.
District of Columbia Council records
Collection consists of District Council considerations, hearings, proposals, correspondence, subject files, legislation, magnetic tapes, and budget files. The collection ranges in date from 1968 to 1975 and they cover the District Council of Washington, D.C.

Ernest Sewall Shephard was a member of the George Washington University faculty from 1926 to 1966. Dr. Shephard was Professor of English holding the Master of Arts degree. He chaired the English Department for many years. Collection includes correspondence, articles papers, English class notes, lectures, and other items from Ernest Shephard. The materials range from 1939-50.

The association has been very active in advocating for the preservation of the residential character of Foggy Bottom as profound changes have come to the neighborhood since the mid-20th century.
Foggy Bottom collection
The Foggy Bottom Collection is an outgrowth of the 1996 exhibit the Foggy Bottom Association and the Gelman Library sponsored called "Fantastic Foggy Bottom: The Growth of a Community." Materials in this collection include articles, building surveys, newspapers, books, photographs, slides, and artifacts. They range in date from 1907-98.

Franz H. Michael papers
Franz H. Michael (1907-92) was director of The George Washington University's (GW) Institute for Sino-Soviet Studies from 1969 to 1972. A noted expert on Chinese history and Far Eastern affairs, Michael came to GW in 1964 as the associate director of the institute under Kurt London. Collection of correspondence, speeches, and articles. They range in date from 1966 to 1986.
Frederick Gutheim papers
Frederick Albert Gutheim (1908-1993) was a city planner, urban historian and architectural critic, and professor at The George Washington University from 1971-79, and director of the University's graduate program in historic preservation from 1976-1979. Collection include correspondence, papers, publications, exams, syllabi, lecture notes, newsletters, and news clippings ranging from 1952-1980.
Frederick Kuh papers
Collection contains correspondence, articles, scrapbooks of Kuh articles, speeches, diaries, writings both published and unpublished, and address and telephone books. This material dates from 1924-67. These papers are from Kuh's time as a journalist especially during World War II. Kuh was often the recipient of confidential information from numerous government officials in London and Washington, D.C.
