Washington (D.C.)

The Women's Studies Department at The George Washington University (GW) is responsible for several degrees for undergraduates, masters, and dual degrees. This collection includes committee meetings minutes, newsletters, proposals, comprehensive exams, and alumnae surveys. The materials range in date from 1965 to 1998.

Collection include materials related Wood Gray's time at GW as professor of History, and includes annual reports, correspondence, committee reports, reading lists, syllabi, grades, exams. They range in date from 1934-72.

This collection consists of nine issues of the Woodwind publication. The later issues are dated in the early 1970s. The earlier issues do not have dates. The issues have poetry, essays photography, advertisements and reviews of music and films. The artists featured were often local to Washington, DC

Collection contains by-laws, articles of incorporation, correspondence, personnel records, financial records, programs, the Word Works Washington Prize, publications, photographs, and audiocassettes. The material dates from 1971-2013. Copies of manuscripts submitted by the young, aspiring poets who contributed to The Word Works are included in this collection.
