William B. Griffith joined the George Washington University faculty in July 1964 and was Elton Professor of Philosophy and Public Policy. The collection contains his work in the department, as well as other professional activities such as the faculty senate and papers given at conferences.

This collection contains handwritten and typed drafts, revised drafts, correspondence, syllabi, government papers, and personal papers. These materials represent the personal papers of Marcus Raskin, the materials he created and collected with the Institute for Policy Studies, as a professor at The George Washington University and his time working for the National Security Council. The materials date from 1959-2009.
