This collection contains material relating to the works and academic career of Norris I Crandall. Included are manuscript drafts, lecture notes, research notes and students papers dating from 1935-1954.
Over 500 photographs that are referenced in donor's dissertation, "Rudulph Evans: An American Sculptor." Photographs are of models and other images of what would become the Thomas Jefferson sculpture at the Jefferson Memorial. Also donated booklet about sculpture, "Shrine of Freedom."
